For organisers
Free ticketing for small events
New organisers on SendMeTheDrop pay no ticket fees for their first three months, and neither do the people buying. Twenty-five founding organisers never pay them at all. Free events, with walk-in, RSVP or guestlist, cost nothing to run, ever. After the three months, the fee is published before anyone pays, never sprung at checkout.
What "no fees" means
For your first three months, there's no booking fee on top of your ticket price and nothing taken off it by us. The price you set is the price your crowd pays.
After three months, a booking fee applies to paid tickets. It's listed on the pricing page, and buyers see it before they pay, never as a surprise at checkout. Free events stay free, with no fee and no card needed.
Founding organisers keep the no-fee terms for good. There are 25 founding places, by invitation.
What you get
- One button for your crowd. Walk-in, RSVP, guestlist or tickets: people get on it with one tap.
- A sealed address, if you want it. For free events, keep the location back until a time you choose. Ticketed events always show the location before anyone pays.
- A launch kit in your own colours. Instagram story, post and square, a WhatsApp line, a QR code and an embed for your site. No SendMeTheDrop logo on your tickets or assets.
- A door link. Anyone on your team can open it and check people in. No account, and it works offline.
- Your audience. People who follow you hear about your next drop. Message everyone going in one go.
- Payouts through Stripe, straight to your bank.
How it works
- Create. Title, when, where, how people get in, your brand. It takes about a minute.
- Launch. Share it everywhere with the launch kit, and it goes on the map for everyone nearby.
- Run the door. Send the door link to whoever's on the door.
- Learn. Views, saves, who's going, tickets sold, and which links brought people.
Honest limits
It's built for general admission. No reserved seating plans, no invoicing, no Android app for buyers yet (they can buy on the web). If you need those, a bigger platform will suit you better. See how we compare with Eventbrite.
