Ticketing for small events
Most ticketing systems were built for venues and festivals, and it shows. SendMeTheDrop's ticketing is built for the night that happens once. Set up ticket types and how many of each, sell through one link and on the map, let people pay with Apple Pay or card, and scan them in at the door with any phone. No ticket fees for your first three months, for you or your buyers.
What you get
- Ticket types. Early bird, standard, a table for four. Set a price and a quantity for each, and switch them on and off.
- One button for buyers. Send me the drop opens the tickets, then checkout. Apple Pay or card. The price they see is what they pay.
- Tickets in the wallet. Buyers get their ticket in the app and as an Apple Wallet pass.
- The door. A door link anyone on your team can open, no account needed. Scan tickets or tick names. It works offline.
- Payouts. Through Stripe, to your own bank account.
- The numbers. Views, saves, tickets sold and which links sold them, plus a report after the night.
What it costs
No ticket fees for your first three months, for you or for the people buying. After that a booking fee applies to paid tickets. It's published on the pricing page, and buyers see it before they pay. Free events, with RSVP or guestlist instead of tickets, cost nothing to run.
Ticketed drops are never sealed
On SendMeTheDrop a free drop can keep its address back until a set time. A ticketed drop can't. If someone is paying, they see where it is first. It's a rule we don't bend, and it's why buyers trust a ticket from the map.
Good for
Club nights, supper clubs, workshops, launches with limited places, gigs, screenings, tastings. If it's general admission or a set number of seats at a table, it fits. If you need reserved seating plans or invoicing, a bigger platform will suit you better. See how we compare with Eventbrite.
